Nuts. (Several Amusing Titles For This Post Were Discarded By Mgmt)

SuperiorNutStore.comFrom time to time, we receive care packages from our clients with various products from candies and cookies, to skin care products and toilet paper. And, as you might expect our favorites fall into the “edible” category.

This morning I found a large box on my chair with in excess of 15 lbs of nuts, of every variety, from SuperiorNutStore.com.

Yes, this was a fantastic opportunity for the Cacti to enjoy a delicious snack, but it also allowed the SuperiorNutStore.com account managers to really see, touch and taste the product they were promoting.

Placing products in the hands of your marketing team can be a great way to increase product knowledge on the agency-side.  It also helps highlight new product lines, and can even spark new ideas beneficial to the overall marketing strategy.

Product placement is seen consistently with our Call Center Services merchants.  To ensure Call Center Representatives have a thorough knowledge of the product, they place samples on-hand so reps will be able to “sell it” to the customers and answer any questions they may bring to the call.

So, when hiring an outside agency or individual for a portion of your marketing, keep in mind that the best way for them to know and understand your product is by placing it in their hands.
