Affiliate helps Businesses grow in Tough Times

After reading my iGoogle this morning I found a article that I would like to share with you.   CJ (Commission Junction) has released some information showing that having an affiliate program helps grow your business compared to competitors that do not have an affiliate program.

The article then goes into splitting the top 500 retailers into 2 groups, one with an affiliate program and one with out and this has very interesting results.  The group that has an affiliate program saw a 36% year over year growth and the group that doesn’t  saw a drop in online sales.
